A special visit was made with neighbours to Bletchley Park in late February 2012

Below is a mix of photographs that include those taken of a Quilt Exhibition held at the same location plus a chance to see a little about the ENIGMA machine and partial decoder Bombe designed by Alan Turing. Added to this are a few photos of others machines used for decripting more complex German coding machines. The brilliant degign and build of Colossus - the high speed code breaker aimed at the Lorenz machine - by Tommy Flowers at the GPO Dollis Hill Research Station in North London, is now getting recognition as the Worlds's first electronic  programmable computer. Ten Colossus machines were built by the end of WWII.
