A Day trip to Bath with Judy Segal
We took the old A4 to Bath that included the single lane toll-bridge at
Bathampton to see the buildings of Georgian Bath and a little history of
the Roman occupation in the early centuries AD. On the way we stopped
for refreshments at Polly Tea Rooms in Marlborough. Judy enjoyed Bath
City and was particularly 'wowed' by the little shops that stretch from
Milsom Street to the Pump Rooms. We take these shops for granted yet
Bath really knows how to make all things for sale so appealing.
