A place to catch up with 'goings-on'  Last edited:

What a pleasure to see and enjoy the company of Bash and Adenike, on holiday from Nigeria, after so many years since we shared the pleasures of Bath.

Here you will find some snaps taken during their visit to some classmates from Bash's days at the University of Bath. Also click LINK to Picasa to see all these, plus a few more, as a slide show.

First are those of Bash and Adenike staying with John and Donna on the North Cornish coast near the tip of Cornwall.

Next were those taken when Pete, Roger, Lynn and Richard visited to add to the merriment of meeting up after almost 40 years.

Some were then taken at a Marlow Cafe, Eton and Windsor during a round trip of the area around Reading that included Sonning, Cookham, Bourne End and Boulter's Lock at Maidenhead.

We then spent over 12 hours on a wonderful day-out in Bath that included the Universty campas, some sites and sights of Bath plus some places where Laurie & Jean used to live & may even want to live one day!

PLEASE NOTE IN YOUR DIARY A LONG WEEKEND FROM Friday 6th TO Sunday 8th MAY 2011 FOR OUR BIG 40 YEARS RE-UNION IN BATH WHERE WE HOPE TO MEET UP WITH AT LEAST HALF OF THE CLASS OF '71 WHO EITHER GRADUATED THEN OR  HAD ALREADY LEFT FOR BETTER THINGS. The University is producing a special brochure to include with letters to send to all, where they have current addresses. This will be sent out over the next few months. In addition to this some keen individuals are planning a choice of extra treats and outings. More on this later. Bash says he is planning to join us by flying in from Nigeria.
